Volkswagen came to SignManager needing assistance with their signage program as they were using multiple signage manufacturers who all used their own methods of construction. While the signs looked similar, they were made of different materials and needed maintenance at different rates. Not having a single point of control made it difficult to determine if they were getting value for money, and it became hard to track which signage was at each of its dealerships.

As SignManager is an independent consultancy and not tied to any manufacturers, we were able to pull all their manufacture drawings together to create a master signage design, manufacture and install manual. This meant that any brand specifications are kept in one place. 

Multiple site surveys were carried out, detailing their existing signage on site, and complete with overall site photos. From this, we designed and prototyped a new main portal cladding concept for their Ringwood Dealership.

We’ve also carried out maintenance work on their signage at various sites throughout their network.
