Suppliers’ code of conduct

What we promise to do

  • Treat you as a business partner, not a contractor
  • Act as a business development function for your business
  • Keep you abreast of industry news and new ways of delivering great signage solutions
  • Deliver you quality clients, specifications and artwork so you can do a great job
  • Pay you within 30 days even though the client is unlikely to pay us for 60 – 90 days
  • Listen to your feedback and ideas
  • Keep the information you share with us about your business confidential

What we promise not to do

  • Share your pricing structure and quote details with competitors
  • Operate as a broker or intermediary
  • Abandon your business if the primary contact moves on – our agreement is with your business not the individual
  • Start manufacturing or installing signage – that’s your job

What we expect of you

You are representing both our business and yours when attending a client site for a job we have recommended you for, so we ask that you commit to:

  • Letting your SignManager project manager know whenever you intend visiting a client site as well as reporting to the supervisor on site when you arrive and informing them what work you will be carrying out during your visit
  • Leaving the site as you found it and take responsibility for the cleanliness and safety of your work area and any other areas directly or indirectly impacted by your work and presence on site
  • Working within the specifications provided by SignManager. Your site contacts don’t have the background information or the authority to discuss or approve specification changes so please don’t ask them – talk to us as we are your client
  • Making sure you have all the necessary work licenses to be able to deliver your services (high reach, crane etc)
  • Knowing the relevant site-specific traffic, power, gas and water information so you can take appropriate precautions
